incredible ep and outstanding musichanship, this is really inspiring, the way Istrumental (adj.) play with rhythm is really engaging and I'm loving the slightly more midwest emo vibe on these tracks.

A sonic onslaught, this debut is a winding, complex monster of metallic Prog and Mathy Metal. The incredible accuracy in pulling of daredevil time signatures is all under-pinned by melody and catchy hooks. Take,’ Swagger’, like a Djent band stuck in the studio and vying for control with a particularly raucous version of Lightning Bolt – the precision is jaw-dropping. Elsewhere, I get hints of ‘Power to Believe’ era King Crimson. Fitting, as Serious Beak is a true 21st century schizoid band.
